Let’s build the future of Upper Hutt together

It’s time for a Mayor with vision and energy who will work with the whole community to help Upper Hutt become the best place in the region to live and raise a family.

Upper Hutt is a small city with huge potential

We have all the building blocks to become a more liveable and inclusive city. We have fun urban parks, beautiful bush walks, a precious awa (river), great community facilities, and many talented people and innovative businesses.  

But our city is facing growing pains as more people discover the magic of Upper Hutt. We need a solutions-focused Mayor who can help us navigate these challenges, from social isolation to climate change. 

I’m ready to be that Mayor

My priorities as mayor are:

  • Creating a city centre where families love to spend time together.

  • Make it easier for everyone to get around by fixing potholes, extending the train service to Timberlea and creating safe streets around schools

  • Invest in our infrastructure for the future and make sure developers pay their fair share towards the infrastructure for growth

  • Partnering with government to bring an urgent healthcare facility closer to home

Let’s create a better Upper Hutt together.
